Founded by Dan and Basma, Deliciously Guilt Free began with co-founder Basma’s diagnosis of pregnancy diabetes. As she is a doctor she wanted to manage her diabetes with diet and to avoid, for as long as possible, using medication. Adhering to a strict low-sugar and low-carb diet, by the end of the pregnancy, she was healthier than she had been for years.
