Prediabetes Prevention
What is Prediabetes?
Prediabetes is a condition where blood glucose (and insulin) levels are raised. Left untreated, glucose levels will continue to rise and Prediabetes turns into type 2 diabetes.
However, reversing and preventing Prediabetes is possible. Taking control of your health can prevent or reverse the condition. This will reduce your risk of developing type 2 diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and dementia.
Some other names for Prediabetes include: early-stage diabetes, borderline diabetes, insulin resistance, impaired fasting glucose (IFT) or impaired glucose tolerance (IGT).
